Black Caps Black Book ... /Diary - November 30
What a day.
What a day.
It was a terrific example of our leader, our guy putting the cricketing world on his shoulders and saying 'come with me'.
This morning I wrote a poem regarding Phil Hughes. This evening I'm typing this old thing, I don't know what it is.
There isn't much scarier in cricket that a cricket ball coming at your head
A solid day's cricket where everyone got their milkshakes
Well, kia ora Danny V. Danny V and BJ, dynamic duo.
So far in the two test's between the Black Caps and Pakistan we've seen some pretty awesome cricket.
It's hard to say too much with a negative tinge because the Black Caps did exactly what I had personally requested - cheers lads.
Ben Wheeler and Jeetan Patel should go out on a little date, maybe to the local all you can eat Pizza Hut (if they can find one).
The day started in a frustrating way as the Black Caps bowled to a very talented young wicket keeper/batsmen and a number 11
Test cricket huh? Always one to serve up a bit of weirdness, test cricket is about battling it out for the whole day, the whole test, the whole series which, I'm happy to say is what this Black Caps side are doing.
The Black Caps started the day with Tom Latham and Corey Anderson at the crease and they finished it exactly how they would have liked.
I'm going to start this off by saying how damn happy I am that this is Australia's problem, not one for the usually troublesome Black Caps. What's the problem? This lad named Michael Clarke
Take a bow Tom Latham
Eden Park, the ugh, not so garden of Eden. Anyway, it hosted a big weekend of whack whack cricket which unfortunately was rained on.
The fat lady sung her little song on the day one
The easy route would be to lean on the fact that Pakistan are currently awesome.
Two matches in the Super Smash whack whack competition took place this week, with a big old weekend of T20 cricket ahead
Aggressive cricket. In your face cricket. Chirping away general bullying cricket. Many seem to think that it’s just not cricket
It was a jam packed weekend results-wise to say the least.
